1. Introduction

Huzen Software B.V. (“Huzen Software”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy applies to:

  • visitors of our website;
  • customers who purchase a Subscription or Enterprise License for HZN Queue Console.

Important: HZN Queue Console runs entirely on your own infrastructure. The Software does not send any data from your message broker, queues, or messages to Huzen Software. We have no access to the data you process with the Software.

3. What Data We Collect and Why

3.2 License Activation

The machine identifier is a one-way hash and cannot be used to identify your device or its contents.

We use Umami Analytics for website analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Only anonymous, aggregated usage data is collected (such as page views and button clicks). No consent banner is required.


4. Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect or receive any data from your message brokers, queues, or messages.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
  • We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, financial, political, etc.).

All processors are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

  • Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restriction — you may request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.


8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. These include:

  • encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS);
  • access controls limiting who can access personal data;
  • regular review of security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in risk to your rights, we will notify you and the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens as required by law.


9. Cookies

Our website uses only functional cookies required for the checkout to work. We do not use analytical, tracking, or advertising cookies.

Our analytics tool (Umami) is cookie-free and requires no consent.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers at least 30 days before taking effect. The current version is always available on our website.
